Sponsor | LightChaser | Jun 23, 2007 9:15pm | I have a video Ipod, and the thing is starting to play parts of some songs then it skips the rest of the song, and goes to the next.
I can play those songs on computer when the ipod is connected, through itunes. Anyone know of how to fix this? |

This restores your iPod to it's original state, fixing any firmware or software problems that may have been caused by third party connections, music, or videos. |

Most common is that the firmware of the iPod has become corrupted and it just needs to be restored. Sometimes the song files may be corrupt themselves. Sometimes the hard drive of the iPod is actually going bad and will need to be replaced. Generally hard drives last at least a good 2 or 3 plus years unless they have been physically damaged (such as dropping the iPod). |
